Exhibit Opportunities

  • Annual All-Member Show. The Arts/Wayland Annual All-Member show is held every May and June in the Raytheon Room of the Wayland Public Library. Each member is permitted to show up to two pieces of 2D or 3D art. See Events page for exact dates.

  • Annual Wayland Cultural Council Show. In 2004 Arts/Wayland and the Wayland Cultural Council began a new tradition of an annual group show of Arts/Wayland members' work in the Wayland Town Building each year. The exhibit space, called "ArtSpace", is administered by the Wayland Cultural Council. See Events page for exact dates.

  • Arts/Wayland Members' Show(s). The Arts/Wayland board of directors attempts to line up at least one juried show per year. In addition, the board approaches various local venues for group member exhibits. See Events page for exact dates and venues.

  • Traditions of Wayland. Ongoing group exhibit. We're asking each artist who wishes to participate to commit to leaving one or two pieces on display for an extended period. You may rotate your pieces as often as you like, as long as you keep your space filled. The residents at Traditions are very appreciative of the art and greatly enjoy seeing new work and meeting the artists. Contact Julia Leney to sign up. Traditions of Wayland is located at 10 Green Way, Wayland.

  • Foyer of Wayland Public Library. Arts/Wayland members are encouraged to sign up for a one-month solo show in the foyer of the Wayland Public Library. Please email Arts/Wayland member Amruta Mudambi (see your member handbook) to reserve a month. The Raytheon Room, a much larger space, is also available for 1-month shows, but it does book up quickly. The Library requests 20% of any sales.

  • Emerson Hospital in Concord has two walls available for 6-8 week exhibits by local artists. One wall is for paintings, the other for photography. The hospital requests 25% of any sales. Call 978-287-3084 for more information. 133 Old Road to Nine Acres Corner, Concord MA.

Note: there are numerous locations throughout the region available for artists to exhibit their work. Many are listed in the Arts/Wayland Member Handbook.
